S'pose I'm back online now. Inbox reads under 1000 messages for the first time in months, some new motivation/depression soup has been served to promote artistic and scientific inspiration, coils are coiled, diagrams sketched, ideas had, dozens of pages as yet unscanned for that darn force-field database, grades to keep up for maintaining acceptance to the Aerospace engineering program at Carleton, etc, etc, etc, I think my brain is melting.

Those missing episodes... Several episodes of the first three Doctor Who seasons have gone missing save for the audio tracks and spotty video reconstructions. Some awesome people have posted everything online for anyone to watch so that's what I've been doing sometimes when my brain has entered the supertoast state.

Iaspis Laboratories is starting to get a web-presence as I learn HTML and CSS... When I've time for it. A sketch or two has been made for the site layout; finally, a use for my steampunk resource pack that's been accumulating over the past two years.

We had a pretty cool bonfire this Saturday. How do you light a bonfire? Gasoline and homebrew rocket launchers! Well the rocket launcher failsploded but we still had gasoline... Lots and lots of gasoline. Had we left it to soak in and evaporate for a minute more the fireball would have been quite a bit nicer but these things aren't a precise science. Of course some stupid neighbor called the fire department on us while there were several other fires going around the neighborhood... It's not fire season yet so the only thing making our burn less than legal was that it was at night... Because sparks are easier to see during full sunlight? I don't get the logic behind that one. It just seems like pointless legislation for making life more complicated... Ah well, the FD guy left after a few minutes, seeing as we had the garden hose all the way out t the fire in case of stray sparks and that the fire had already burned down to the point of being within the 'legal' 3X3X3 meter box. I could have taken a few pictures of the fire and checked to see if it was under 27m^3 but that may have just pissed the guy off. >.> Silly laws. At any rate, laser pointers and smoke are definitely going on my 'best of things' list.

I'll be brief about my psychological state to avoid unnecessary drama. I'm losing interest in the things that I'm normally passionate about and I'll be seeing a psychologist of some sort next Tuesday. What sort of psych I'm not really sure, there was this big questionnaire with a lot of multiple choice questions and a few written response... I hope I passed. :P

For anyone going into the later English grades (11/12): Plead, beg, bribe to challenge the course. The baseline themes are how everything comes at a cost, humans are horrible, glorifying people being terrible to other people, people tearing other people's houses down, setting up ideal sounding societies then fucking them so hard it's like finding porn cut into the middle of your favorite Disney movie. It is a mindfuck and a half and I'd suggest you do /everything/ in your power to challenge the courses and move on.

On that happy note have some songs about bullying (WARNING: THERE MAY BE PONIES(OH GODS NO!!!!!(*rolls eyes*))):
